As a potential Marfortec client, I am interested - 'How do we get started' ?

The answer really depends on what you the client would like to achieve as your business objectives.   The service offered by MARFORTEC®  is tailored to match your specific marketing needs, but broadly a project may follow the following format:     

A discussion is held with the client company to review their products and services offered, their expectations, business objectives (short and long term), and any other business ambitions.   A proposal is then prepared suggesting a plan of action to meet the objectives.  The plan may include:

A business (market) survey  carried out to identify local competition (bench-marking), route to market,  pricing, trading methods, customer needs, barriers to entry, method of distribution, competitor selling skills, specification requirements, local pricing, etc.   The objective of the study is to prepare a 'How Best to Compete Strategy'. 

On completion of the study, a report is prepared and presented to the client's management for discussion too review "How best to Proceed" and agree the sales and marketing objectives.

The object of the study/report is to  present a comprehensive business review from which informed choices can be made.   The report would include a potential list of key accounts, strength and weaknesses reference the opportunities for each potential account and a sales forecast.    In short, what does one have to do to generate profitable sales?  How long will it take?   Is the business available worth the effort?  What's the potential reward?  What are the long-term business prospects? etc.  

Once the Sales and Marketing objectives are agreed.  A number of dedicated days are organised by MARFORTEC®  tailored to meet the client's specific marketing needs.    Local sales and marketing activity then commences. 

It is the experience of
MARFORTEC® having completed numerous projects, that  only a small number of carefully selected potential key accounts should be targeted when starting out to develop new business.   This allows concentration of effort (intensive courting) in getting that first order, often the most difficult, especially if buyer behaviour necessitates change and there is entrenched competition.

It is important throughout the selling process, that the supplier company or representative is easy to contact.   A local presence is a major advantage.  Being local demonstrates commitment and is especially important if there are different working time zones. 

Typically the types of project handled by MARFORTEC®  are one's that require multi level selling, where buyer confidence and supplier integrity are essential.  Sales that do not happen instantly, but require the building of a supplier / user bonds often involving specifications and / or agency approvals.  

MARFORTEC® is committed to developing long- term strong client / customer relationships and will not handle any other projects where there could be a conflict of interest.
